I know you may be tempted to do this yourself, but it is very important to have a dental handle any infections in your mouth. Not only do you have a risk for the infection to spread to the point of you losing that tooth, there is even a chance it can spead to your brain...Seriously, you really need to go to a dentist if you are experiancing these problems.

I had an abcess before and I had to go to the dentist and have it drained. I was put on medication to clear it up and then he fixed it. Don't ever play with an affection. I heard of someone dying from an affected tooth because it was neglected the infection got into her blood stream. Please go see a dentist.

You might try hot packs but, it's a maybe? See the dentist, he'll give you some instructions, it'll probably have to drain and the swelling go down before he works on it. You don't want to spread the infection so, be careful.

antibiotics and a root canal. Sounds painful but is the quickest way to relief.
