It depends on your concept of love.
If it means that the guy really turns you on, then yes.
If it means as Scott Peck defines in his book "A Road Less Traveled" that love is an active comitment to the happiness and growth of another person.... then I don't think so.
If it means the heart knotted, passionate, head over heels crazyness described in paperback romances.... Sorry but that's a fantasy.

I've heard of it. Know a couple of couples that have experienced it, but odds are that most people do not fall in love at first sight..

Desire at first sight might be more appropriate... Lust is what happens with most guys at first sight.. For both parties involved to be in love at first sight... It is rare and not the rule of thumb...

I think it is plausible. The Feb 2006 National Geographic has an interesting article about the chemical reactions that occur with love. One interesting concept was the different neurochemical states that occur with new love vs. attachment. It claimed that with novelty and exciting activity such as a roller coaster ride brain dopamine levels increase and that may induce the feeling of love, while in long standing relationships the neurochemical predominance converts to oxytocin.

It's true, I fell in love from the first sight, I just knew that I loved her the moment I looked in her eyes. it wasn't lust .it was love and I'm still in love with her and every moment that passes , I love her more, but it started when I saw her the first time.

I prefer to call it lust at first sight. Lust at first sight certainly exists, but love at first sight does not.
