Apparently an innocent question but otherwise a very intelligent one. Besides the arithmetic part, it has other meaning in the world of living beings which may not lead to infinity but an unknown number through propagation. Two human couples may produce any number of children up to 50 or so, insofar as the maximum is concerned. I am sure, the question is not confined to arithmetics only.

People say 2 and 2 makes 4; They are right as either way 2 and 2 is equal to 4; Either we multiply or we add its 4.

2 and 2 normally make 4. It could be 1 if devided. It is 22, if grouped. It is philosophy to go beyond.

If you're a Democrat, you take 2 bucks from the rich 2 bucks from the middle class and give 6 bucks to someone who is too lazy to work.
So 2 & 2 MUST be 7... see they're reducing the deficit already...

It could be 0, or 4, or 1 or 22. The last one is more positive an answer but mathematically not an accurate answer.
