Ex dumped me a month ago. She is currently in therapy cause her dad died 4 months ago, she has low self esteem, and has been unhappy for a very long time. She said that she really hoped we could be friends and talk and email cause thats all she could handle right now. SHe said she was sorry for the break up but she needed time to figure her own life and what makes her happy. She asked me not to hate her and said that the timing of us sucked because of her. She said sorry that I had to attempt to deal with a crazy person like her and I did nothing wrong. I said i understood, which I really do, but that i needed time to get over her to be a real friend, with no hidden intentions. I recently sent her and email apologizing for any uncomfort I may have caused in her life and said that I hope we could talk every now and then and keep in touch, I felt bad cause I know she is going through tough times. Wow. What a nice guy you sound like. I had to reread your post just to make sure you were infact a guy!
Which makes it all the harder to tell you that if she was crazy about you she wouldnt have dumped you. Sorry but its true. When couples that are in love, deeply and sincerely, have trouble strike, it tends to bring them closer together - with an extra shoulder to lean on.
She obviously doesnt want to hurt your feelings but at the same time, I get the feeling that this is not the girl for you. But by the sounds of it, you wont be single for long. Any girl would kill for a guy who is as thoughtful and kind as you!

buddy, u can never be friends with someone u loved and had left u, iv been through the same. the fond memories of past will haunt you, and ull feel like killing urself, dont bother, shell be fine cause she is taking steps to be fine. sorry if i was rude

it sounds like shes sincere ...give her another chance but try not to get too attached to her , then you wont get hurt if she leaves you again!
