I think it all depends on why you split in the first place babe. If you think about it, if it was gonna work out, you's would still be together now. Trust me, I was with a fella for 8 years, split for a year and we're still good friends. But no matter how close we are, I would never dream of getting back with him cos the problems we had at first would come back again.
I say, stay friends but thats all. You'll find your perfect girl babe. Good Luck x x x

She is an ex for a reason - have a think about the reason she is an ex and work out whether that would have changed with age and maturity. You need to think about why are you thinking of getting close again, are you lonely or something like that?

If 2 yrs wasn't long enuff to see that you are incompatible then sure, try it again. I guess hind sight isn't always 20/20. My wife and I were married for 5 yrs. As much as I love her and remember the good times, I can't deny that it hurt when she left. I would never give here a chance to finish me off. But then I don't know why you broke up or who broke up......

What are you afraid of? If it was a bad breakup and you think that the cause of the last breakup will affect a new relationship with her, then you shouldn't.
However, if it wasn't a bad breakup and that you both feel you can work on a positive relationship with each other, then go for it.

It's all good practice and you could discuss the reasons why you broke up and still feel attracted to each other. It might remind one or the other of you why you broke up in the first place and whether it was worth it. Remember, jaw, jaw is better than war, war

It depends on why you split up the first time. As long as you have worked out all the kinks then why does there need to be a problem.>
