Roast leg of pork with crispy golden crackling, sage onion, apple and lemon, and Apricot and walnut stuffings, crispy golden roast potatoes and apple sauce, or roast rib of beef, with light Yorkshire puddings, golden roast potatoes and horseradish sauce...plus a load of fresh steamed veg straight from the garden, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, little baby potatoes with the skins on and brocolli...it's for eight lads after they've played football on Sunday

There's a homemade deepdish apple and blackberry pie with homemade vanilla ice cream or thick creamy custard for pud...or a blackcurrant cheesecake - all fruit from the garden!

They both sound lovely. I would love them both. Thinking as they're boys and they'll be very hungry from playing footie.....the beef. But if you do the yummy sounding pork still do yorkshires. A roast is no roast without yorkshire puds!

Do the beef as i reckon they will be tired and cold from playing at weekend and with all that veg it'll certainly fill them up and warm them all up too!

well the pork sounds more like you're having a proper dinner and the beef sounds like you're skimping on the calories!!! i love beef though, medium rare and it has so much more flavour!
