Joining the military, especially the Marines, isn't about what they can give you. In fact, if you ask a Marine recruiter about what they can offer you over the other services, they may tell you to get out, or just laugh at you. The Air Force is more like having a civilian job that involves you doing military stuff, but it's a great service to join if you're not Gung-Ho and all. If your not Gung-Ho, but don't feel like sitting on an Air Force base or want to see the world, join the Navy. You'll go freaking everywhere, and it's not overly stressful. Between the Marines and the Army, the way i see it is if you're going to join a ground-combat service, you ought to join the Marines. They're better trained and led and less likely to get you killed over something stupid. Get some!

I'm in the Air Force and I like it. It all depends on what kind of person you are and what you want to do in the military. Every branch has it's better parts. The Air Force tends to have a smarter bunch of people in it because of our jobs (for the most part) I'd say Air Force but only because I'm biased. If I wasn't married I'd have joined hte Marines. But I belong in the Air Force.
The common misconception of the Air Force is that we only fly jets. This is NOT true. Can can be almost anything in the Air Force. You can only fly a jet if you are an officer. You can be a doctor, a dentist, a mechanic, computer tech, cop and all sorts of other things in hte Air Force. Ask a recuiter. The book with the list of jobs in it is at least 7 inches thick!

you are able to connect the marines good away, its no differant than the different branch. in case you bypass marines, its alot of phyical depand. Air stress ( which im in) is alit of computers, technical intellagence jobs, theres alot of others too. in addition they pay the main and have the bedt abode & much less likly risk of easily "combating" in a conflict military is alot of intellegance additionally, youll be deployed on a boat for alongside time, military has the main different interest selection and is the least perplexing to get into. coast guard, there isnt a severe call for for good now. If I have been you identity bypass military or mariens considering yoy dont want a "table interest"

The Air Force has a life style and careers more like the civilian life.
I was in CES as a A/C Tech. Civil Engineering Squadron , Air Conditioning.
I really enjoyed my time in the AF.....well I didn't like the remote duty assignment to Shemya, Alaska. :)

really depends on you....
Marines are first in and pretty much - combat flat out
Navy - depending on the fight - you're looking at ship, shore and flying (lots of navy flyers)
air force - flying period
i cna't say one is better for you then another as i don't know your personality or abilities.

If your interested in joining the military, talk to the recruiters. See what each branch has to offer you and vice versa.
