nope, Its still 100% for firefox 2

If you don't like IE7, install Firefox or Opera instead -in fact, I suggest you do that anyway,
Try them-you might like them.

Well I'm going to be different and say I'm fine with it. I loaded it with yahoo toolbar despite everyone saying don't. I love the toolbar, the tabs, the extra buttons. I've had no trouble with it at all. It's faster than IE6.

Yes, you can revert to IE6 - either by add/remove prog or by system restore. They both work. I can vouch for this as I tried IE7 some months back before they sorted some of the probs and reverted to IE6 until Yahoo rolled out the new version.

So there you go - no complaints at all. I won't even mention the word firefox.!!

Still opera on everything that it'll work on, Mozilla on anything that i need to compile for.
I use IE6 occasionally for site compatability. Can't upgrade to IE7, though, because my XP isn't a legit version. Though I don't do much in the way of webbrowsing (or much else...) under windows.
Use it occasionally to check whether sites work in IE, but i don't think i've ever attempted to break the code so it works in IE.

I don't think you can go back to IE6 after upgrading to IE7. It's part of the general MS culture of 'what we say is good for you, is good for you'. You used to be able to go back, but i've not heard of anyone managing it with this, contrasting with a lot of people who couldn't.
Though you really should upgrade to IE7, even if it does look a bit, er, odd (looks more like something from Apple than Redmond IMO). It's the closest to standards compliant MS have got with anything, which means that with a good uptake of IE7 web designers can finally write in proper HTML *and* have something that works on IE. Firefox is a good option, too, but i'd wait till they fix the plethora of bugs/incompatabilities/holes in V2.0 before installing.

i have just downloaded ie7 and had just one initial problem.i kept getting an error msg relating to smartbridge.i found the fix on yahoo answers and its been running ok since.very smooth and very fast.but i have noticed on the problem pages for ie7 that a lot of people seem to expect this to run with almost any type software they have on their pc.this is not always the case as sometimes as in life itself things are not always compatable.this does not nessesarily mean its a fault with ie7.

I can stand ie7. I switched to firefox about a year ago and have never looked back apart from to see what ie7 is like. I just would not know were to begin telling you what is wrong with it it is that bad. Microsoft do say that you can uninstall it but who would trust them.

Considering it fixes a truckload of bugs in IE6 (esp. in the CSS arena) I'd go for it as webmasters will start to ignore the bug laden IE6 pretty soon.

Nope, still 100% Firefox, on the X86 boxes, and on Mac OS X!
Mac OS9 runs the iCab.de web browser.

As long as Microsoft refuses to repair the 500 major holes and 'backdoors' that it actually uses to spy on you, and that it gives to it's "Trusted Partners" so they can spy on you, I will remain a user of FireFox http://getfirefox.com

And, as all of my 74 networked X86 computers run Linux, there is no use for the virus-magnet that is Microsoft! included in http://pclinuxos.com is 5500 games, programs, Opera, and Firefox, and Konqueror, and FREEDOM of choice!

Tbh, since I changed to Mozilla Firefox a year or so ago, I haven't touched IE, although it looks as tho they've nicked a couple of Firefox's ideas.
