Whoa. Hold on. That's a massive leap of pseudo-logic and you'll never hit solid ground again if you make it. You're not allowed to make that assertion. No. Wonder all you want about it but there's other more theoretically sound explanations to consider and, I'm sure, plenty more no-one's thought of yet.
But even if you like to take comfort from the idea of God holding the uncertainty and mystery of all things unknown together (personally, I think that's intellectual cowardice) don't you dare follow up by asserting and imposing ideas of good and bad and moral integrity on the abstract. That has ABSOLUTELY NO JUSTIFICATION.

No. The fact a bumblebee exists is proof only that the bumblebee exists. The fact a bible exists is proof only that the bible exists. The fact I'm sitting here with a cat in my lap, drinking coffee and smoking a cigarette is only proof that there's a woman sitting here with a cat in her lap, drinking coffee and smoking a cigarette.
Get it?

but surely you need proof of existence, it really isnt a case of enough ppl believe so therefore its true. everyone used to believe at one point the world was flat! see my point? religion can be helpful and alot of ppl find comfort in it, but it causes so many problems and terrorists hide behind religion furthering its bad name. all religion wants if i'm getting this right is for everyone to live in peace. well correct me if i'm wrong but there is no peace in this world and there never will be untill ppl accept other ppls beliefs and stop trying to foist thier particular religion upon others. you dont need proof. if you believe then that should be enough for you. this is about being right and being able to say "i told you god was real." as long as you live your life by your beliefs and morals there should be no problem

Proof of God, proof of multiple Gods, proof of a creator God who subsequently died, proof of nothing-take your pick. From a philosophical viewpoint the latter is the most credible and easily defended.

Existence is proof of existence, not of God.

I say that the very nature, function and substance of existence is proof that god is superfluous and hence by default should not be considered to exist... on the same basis.
And your argument has been countered 1 for 1 without even a shred of effort.

God is just a word, if the fact of existence is "God," then of course there is.

Yes. We exist, therefore something must have brought us into existence. It doesn't make sense to say that everything came from nothing and ordered itself out of nothing and then life came from a pond, designing itself through randomness. Randomness didn't make a building, so what makes you think that randomness made the human body with its breathtaking beauty?

God? I still can't believe that some people think there is a supreme being capable of creating the universe. It's time we all took a vote - Religeon or Science.
