Trees are worse than useless. They are parasites competing with humans for the valuable resources of the earth. If we were to kill off all the trees and all the other plants in the world, there would be a lot more room for people. We would have to build our houses out of concrete and steel but we already do that anyway. We should all try to cut down at least one tree every day.

Trees makes us alive!
Its the process of nature that we existed because of the ecological balance we have. If you cut trees and produce many homes and vehicles... who will purify our air? Have you noticed that even there are plenty of people in the room the mosquitos bite you more than the other? That is you need oxygen bacuae your blood streams have already been full of carbon dioxide which our beloved trees can help alot!!! I think this is the primar reasons that there are states in the US that has flood all the time!!! No more trees around them, only houses! So pick your choice!

trees give us oxygen - which helps us live and takes away the carbon dioxide we exhale, which is harmful for us. if there were no trees, i don't think the world wud exist .. i mean, trees are the reason we're saved from natural disasters. thatz why they say plant more n more trees - cuz if suddenly the number of trees in an area drops, that area starts having storms, too much or too little rain, drought, rivers dry out, cyclones, hurricanes, earthquakes ... the area starts losing climate stability.

Such a narcissistic point of view of this world.

The question may very well be "Do trees really need us?" Does this planet really need us?

This planet needs trees and it needs them much more than we ever will. We can only see the abstract value of them as commodities, or as resources for our use. They have much more use as elements in nature:

- housing for all types of species ranging from fungi, insects, birds, to mammals, etc..
- stabilizers for soil, especially along steep terrain.
- Of course, they produce oxygen and filter out harmful carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.
- I am certain that trees affect the climate in which they live.
- Oranges, Apples, Plums, Bananas, etc...

I could go on, but I believe that I have made my point to you in regards to this question. Thank you.
