allergic reactions are tricky-you can use a product for years and have no reaction then suddenly one day-you have a major reaction to it and can't use it again.

it could have been a number of things that caused you to develop a rash.

-stress
-allergens in the air hitting your face
-sudden reaction to products you are using

don't apply anything other than mild soap to your face (dove or ivory work best). using perfumed soaps, lotions, or makeup could irritate the rash and make it worse. this includes allergy creams such as hydrocortisone or benadryl cream-they could irritate your face.

try taking oral benadryl. 1-2 of the 25mg tablets every 6 hours as needed but no more than 4 doses in 24 hours. these pills will make you sleepy so don't drive when taking them.

i know the first thing you want to do is put makeup on your face to cover the rash-but please DON'T. it could make the rash get worse or spread.

if it continues for longer than 48 hours with using the benadryl-make an appt to see your dr. in some cases, severe allergic reactions require antibiotics to clear them up.

To answer the question you would have to describe the rash in much more detail. where abouts on your face? what kind of rash?, blisters? just red marks? how big? have you had an illness recently? to answer how to get rid of it we have to diagnose what it is!

It could be an allergy to makeup or soap, but it could be something like discoid lupus erythematosis. You do not describe the appearance or distribution of the rash. Skin diseases are hard enough to diagnose when you are looking at them.

You may have roceasa. I have it. Use some corizone cream on it and it should go away, mine did. I have to use it every so often. Stress and alcohol make the red rash come.

would not sound like shingles. Shingles is herpes zoster and is rather painful and scars the exterior. even with the undeniable fact that that is a dry pores and skin rash or an allergic reaction to a minimum of something. the only thank you to verify is to have him considered with the help of a doctor while he's broken out with it.
