Indian languages = languages from India, such as Hindi. Bengali, Tamil, etc

As at 12:00 (midday) GMT on Tuesday 10 November 2006, there were exactly 36,247 blogs in languages of the Indian sub-continent

The popular tamil blog portal thamizmanam.com says that it aggregates 1461 blogs written in tamil currently. This could be a fairly accurate representation of scenario of tamil blogs. I don't know about other languages.
