ya i think chatting is addictive some people are just like that obsessive talking relieves stress and anxiety for some people if you have to get your feelings out by talking a lot, that in itself is not terribly wrong hey you are important too if you lose jobs because of talking, then u have to discipline yourself as far as the "
important work is concerned, just concentrate on what ever that is, and the rest of the time can be spent on chatting lots of people love to talk, unless it interferes with your daily life, then it is not a problem a good question

How would I know? grin Yes, it's addictive. But I think it's also important, too. I'm here because my real life was totally destroyed recently and I'm just not up to reinventing myself again. I'm sure you have your reasons, too. If important work were rewarding, you'd be doing it.

O.K. Put a limit, like the Answers crew does: Something like, twenty minutes, or 3 answers. Goood luuck!

It's pretty simple. Don't sign in to messenger in the morning.
Also, try to maintain the list of tasks that you have to perform so that you would always be alert to complete them first rather than wasting time in non-productive chats.

I agree!!!!!! Totally, I think it's a need to feel included or some form of psychological mumbo-jumbo that it turns out is actually applicable. Anyway I've found you just need to avoid the computer! lol... I guess it really is just will-power, something I seem to posess little of.
