The central locking on my Grand Cherokee is not working properly. Drivers door won't lock (has to be done manually) and also the passenger door gets stuck at times. It used to lock itself about 30 seconds after I got in the car as a safety measure but that doesn't work either. Any ideas? Is it something simple I can do myself? Not to worried about it locking itself but would like the two front doors to function properly. Cheers

if both doors started at the same time and theres no noise from locks its the body control module. also if you have any wierd power window or possesed radio problems then its for sure the body module

unless you know how the central locking works you'll need to get a auto electrician to look at it.

its the lock solenoid, V common on jeeps. if you are a competant diy'er then not too tricky otherwise call a local mechanic.
