Hi I've been going to an aerobics class 3 times a week at my local sports center for the past 5 months.
This month the time slots changed and becuase the aeorbics class was not convenient for me I signed up for weight training instead, I've been going for the past 2 weeks = 6 classes and in this time I have gained 3kg.
wanted to tone up, not bulk up, so I have been using the lighest weights in my routine, also I may have been eating slightly more due to the fall in temperature as the seasons change but not that much more than normal an it seems like an awful lot to gain over 2 weeks?? if it's going to continue I'll give up weights all together.
I'm female
2 weeks ago my weight was 61kg = 134.2lbs
today my weight is + 64= 140.8lbs
I am 1.75 meters = 5'75"

Muscle is heavier than fat, don't go by your weight.

I think the reason you have gained weight is because you are increasing your muslces. It's okay to get lean muscles, but if you are insistent to lose weight and not gain weight, why not try to do aerobics by yourself or with your friends? You could buy a video on aerobics.

Its not just about the scale.
Do you feel or look fatter?
Muscle burns fat 24 hours a day, so don't sell it short.
