Tell them to listen to it backwards. If listening to it forwards is of the devil, then backwards should be the opposite, right?

I am a born again Christian and I too have been told by some that listening to music is a sin, but I have not read it in the Bible yet where it says no music. I think that a person should know if the music is bad or not. If it is that death metal that sings satanic things or any music that sings about killing and death, then it is not what a Christian would want to listen to. I think that as long as the lyrics in the songs don't corrupt your mind it is ok. I still listen to some of the songs from the 1970's and the early 1980's and none of it corrups my mind. God knows everyones heart.

I personally feel that the lyrics or words in a song are what makes it good or bad. There are immoral country songs just as there are immoral rock and roll songs. In fact, you could probably find something you didn't like in nearly every style of music but that doesn't make that whole genre evil. If you are worried about your friends and their music choices, try to ask them if they realize what the song is about that they were listening to. Remember, if it bothers your conscience, then it is wrong for you.

Theres nothin wrong with rock n roll. I'm a Christian and I listen to it. However it is wise to be cautious about what the lyrics say at times because people often get influenced, since many rock bands talk about issues such as suicide, drugs, casual sex and stuff.

Like anything else, there is some rock and roll that is ok and some not...some of the lyrics are horrible, some ok.
I guess you can pray for them and also set a good example in what you listen to yourself...and refuse to listen to the bad stuff with them. We do more by our example than our words.

LOL. Nope, don't you worry your little head about it, kiddo. That's just some black propaganda of certain church elders during the 1950s when Rock n' Roll, Elvis and Chuck Berry first came on the radio airwaves.
Sit back, relax and enjoy the back beat of the music. Hey, maybe you oughta learn to boogie, too!
Peace be with you. And rock on...

Yes, it is of the devil. Here's all the proof you will ever need:

Was John Lennon a Satanist?
How about the Who?
What about Led Zepplin or Metallica or Ozzy?
Most of these bands speak openly about Satan in there music, but most people don't notice it. Watch the films and see.
This is the whole song Stairway to Heaben backwards.

Pray for them and leave it in the hand of God he is merciful and good and plentious in patience.
He will not toss them into hell, he will deal with their heart and bring them out, pray for them always and be a testimony to them.
