Wow - this is a huge question. Assuming this is a general health question and not related to a drug rehab issue, then I can suggest you try the following methods:
1. Fast one day per month. For this 24 hour period consume only liquids (fruit juices and water).
2. Body brushing. Vigourously brush your whole body after bathing each day. This encourages the skin to exfoliate and toxins are removed through the skin.
3. Cut red-meat, and highly-processed foods to a minimum.
4. Drink 8 glasses of water a day
5 . Eat fresh fruit and vegetables. look for food that contains roughage - eg. oats or muesli for breafast.
6. Finally ask at your health store for "detox patches". they stick to the soles of your feet at pull out the toxins. Sounds like nonsence but just try it - it works.
7. Respect your body. It works so hard to get you around in this world treat it with the respect it deserves.

good luck getting your body back to health!

A good way to detox is to cut out processed foods, caffeine and meat for the short term. While you do this, you should maximise the amount of water you drink, and pretty much only eat raw fruit and vegetables.

The water will help flush out the toxins. The fruit and vegetables, so long as you eat a healthy mix, will help ensure you are taking in enough vitamins, minerals and fibre during the period to stop your body going into starvation mode. A good rule of thumb is to pick a selection of fruits and vegetables of different colours, as this will help ensure you are taking in a wide range of micro-nutrients. You know if you are drinking enough water when your urine appears colourless and odourless.

While on the detox, it is good to continue with gentle exercise, as this helps everything keep moving through your system.

I follow this plan for one week in four, and always feel great as a result. I usually lose 2-3 pounds at the same time.

Extreme de-toxing isn't actually any good for your body - you body is designed to cope with most toxins anyhow, and you don't wanna limit what you're eating too much incase you don't get enough nutrients and energy for your body. However, I'm sure cutting out refined sugar, caffeine and alcohol for a week or so couldn't be a bad thing - just don't go cutting out the likes of healthy breakfast cereals etc! (2 of my flatmates did a 21-day one once where they cut out basically everything except fruits and veges. The only real noticeable effect as far as I could see, was that once they got off this de-tox, they would get completely drunk off 1 glass of wine, and feel sick and vomit if they attempted to eat one chocolate bar, as their stomachs didn't know how to cope with such things anymore...)

detoxification is a competent theory. Your plan of 10 days? permit your physique be the decide of that. bear in mind, you ought to adventure dizziness or sense lightheaded. this may be a demonstration that the pollutants are being flushed out. once you're carried out with the ten days, it particularly is terrific to no longer bypass returned on your customary behavior and attempt to consume greater healthy than earlier you started the detox plan. good success to you!

I've looked through a lot of sites on the matter and the link below seems to have the most comprehensive lists. Also, certain types of loose leaf tea is really good for detoxification.

There's no easy way to detox, what are you detoxing from, alcohol or drugs and which drug. I had to go thru withdrawals from opiates and it was one week of hell, couldn't walk and in constant pain. But you get through it, and never go back.

i would do one from a book- such as carol Vorderman's- you can get a copy from the library.
It's quite an easy one.

I tried a very strict one- it consisted of raw food only, water and herbal tea, juices and vegetables. This was amazing from point of view of my health- but i did smell rather strange for a while- had to keep showering and scrubbing myself- all part of the elimination process.

It was by Leslie kenton- although her health tips are fab.

In the winter, i would not recommend a strict one, but things such as home made soups are good. No tea, coffee, alcohol, cigs or processed foods basically.

If you are working, be ready for the side effects, feeling light headed etc.

the best is to go on a soup diet. but just your basic soup with carrots, lentils, celery, potatos and turnips. Do that for 13 days. If you are hypoglycemic like me, you might want some protein and starch, like 1 pice of brown bread with fish paste on it.
