I'm a graduate of Business Mgt in one of the best schools in Manila. I have worked for less than a year when I decided to resign and stay in US for the meantime. I tried looking for a job here in California but I want to legalized my stay . What shall I do?

H1 visas don't work that way. There is no list of companies that are looking for foreign employees, and the H1 category is oversubscribed: even if you found an employer who wanted to go to all the trouble of petitioning for you, the soonest you could have a visa would be October 2007.
