spend time with him. see if you two can make it as friends and get to know each other on a deeper level. actions speak louder than words, so be on the look out of how he acts around you. like you said, you both are grown...although it may feel like highschool again or something...lol

Go look for clues in his movements. I mean, the way he looks at you, does he call you often? Does he laugh at your corny antics? Spends a lot of time with you rather than going to the gym...stuff like that. And what does your intuition tells you? If yes, then go ahead girl...make your move. Goodluck!!!!

You must always get to know yourself and know your possible partner first before going into another relationship,this could just be a rebound cover up with a bandage situation,which is much easier and many choose to do,
Some one divorced him or visa versa,you need to find out why,and i don`t mean take his word for it.
