I dont know, but possibly young men are more impulsive than young women and might commit suicide almost on a whim, whereas a woman at the back of her mind would always have a little voice saying 'Maybe i can get help for this problem'.

The sad fact here is that men, women & children of all ages, race and religion often take their own lives, though i do have to say that there has been more media on the amount of men commiting such acts. What we, as a society try to do to address and help those in need simply isnt enough for the ever increasing statistics. This matter is never to be taken lightly and I do hope that anyone who feels like they are approaching such meausures will seek medical and professional help ASAP. This life is worth living, even if its just to say 'I made it' when situations out of your control takes you from the world.

Young men tend to be more impulsive than females, and act out on their thoughts, sometimes unable to rationalise thoughts/feelings, see no other way out. Well documented that young men have higher suicide rate

Our culture has it that men don't want to be seen as weak if they get emotional about a problem so don't talk about it. Men then resort to suicide as their way out of their problem. The highest suicide rates are men of 15-24 years.

properly, if a guy has a difficulty, they have a tendency to bottle it up, it is not as uncomplicated for them to inform somebody, as they could be frightened of being seen as susceptible. on the different hand, a lady with issues is a lot extra possibly to the two tell a depended on pal, a discern or get help on a helpline. they do no longer experience this way of could desire to bottle it up and so as that they are able to get on and get help. Boys are much less possibly to get the help they desire with councelling or meds, which will have taken care of out the melancholy/regardless of grew to become into inflicting the difficulty, earlier it have been given to that degree. i think of it has continually been this way.

There's not, men are just more successful becuase they choose more violent methods, like hanging, jumping or shooting, women choose the less violent options normally like overdose etc and therefore there is often less chance that the attempt will be successful.

I think it's because they use more lethal ways of killing themselves and therefore succeed more often than women.
Men are more likely to use guns or hang themselves, whereas women are more likely to take an over dose and usually don't take enough to kill themselves just to make them rather sick.
Plus I think women are more likely to ask for help than men.

They tend to keep their emotions, feelings and difficulties to themselves more. They feel compelled to.They are also often less receptive to options of help and don't like opening up to professionals.
