There are many. I know because my in-laws live in Bolton and they always go out for Christmas lunch.The steakhouses are always open and many pubs, but you have to book a long time in advance.

i THINK the wheatlea park opens for christmas dinner(wigan) i will keep my eye open for you in the local papers and let you know if i see any more...but i do know that the continental piza place at bryn opens if you fancy a takeaway!
