probably , Moms usually do more of the care taking . At about age 8 or so boys tend to lean more toward dad .

it depends. in my case, my two boys are quite closer to me than their dad but whenever all of us are together, both my kids enjoy playing and cuddling with their dad. It's maybe the close supervision and TLC that Moms give to our children.

All boys are closer to their moms, that is why they are called "Mammas boys". Boys get close to their dads when they get through the rebellous stage,,,,so it seems to me. They have to fight with the 'bull' (dad) to see where they stand. once that happens, it's all good.

Yes.But may be inspiration,guidance and direction may be coming from dad,but they are open to their mom and thankful to their mom and so on.And its not wrong.Dad will happily agree to this.
