Ive been trying to look into this and my doctor say that there is no evidence that any are genetic but im kind of worried. I have a 14 month old daughter who seems to be having trouble hearin which didnt happen 4 months ago. I do have a degenerative (sp??) hearing problem as well as severe allergies to things like nuts fish animals and the such which my mom has as well... could my daughter be at risk or is it just the luck of the draw?? im worried that my next baby (due in 6 months() could have the same problem!

I don't know about the hearing, but allergies are genetic. My doctor has avoided prescribing penecillin for my children just in case, because I am allergic to it. My kids also suffer from the same mold spore allergies that I do and my mother does as well. I am allergic to eggs as my father is.

Your allergies are hereditary not genetic and I'd have a hard time going over all the differences here. Ask your doc about that.

Allergy is definitely hereditary.. although you may not be allergic to the exact same things. You inherit the "sensitive" genes, just makes you more prone to be allergic to things when they are exposed to you.

from the nature of your questions it seems that maybe you should worry about if God is gonna let you carry this one full term or punish you again like the last time. Maybe you should spend some time to repent instead of worrying about petty little allergies.
