no such thing as a guy who is a real friend. They are just waiting for the opportunity and courage to get with you. Deny it all you want, but thats what happened with your FRIEND you just described. Keep telling him about other guys you like.

Oh.
I've had this problem before, though the only difference was that he was VERY attached.
It took me a while to get rid of him lol.
Anyway.
I think that when you sit with him alone, tell him how you feel then.
Say that, you dont want anything to change between you two because you like things the way they are & hes a great guy but you dont see him that way, but another girl definetaly will.

It is time to end this charade.

Break it quick and break it clean - tell him honestly that he is not worthy of your affections and move on.

If you genuinely wish to protect your "friendship" than the best you can do is pretend that his obvious feelings towards you are not really there, and wait for him to get a proper girlfriend.

However this could take years if he thinks he's in "love" with you, and will probably result in him spending much less time with you anyway... so you might as well just go with option A - and shoot him down.

All too easy...

there is no way of telling him without hurting him. if he has feelings for you its gonna hurt. but if you continue to loet him think there's more to you and him its only ognna hurt more. and who knows, he may get a pistol and shoot up the school...or something.
just let him know that you like him and need him as a friend.

first of all WHO CARES what people think.... if YOU (and him) know you aren't in a relationship.... that should be good enough..........if he's a real good friend... let him know "hey I like (or even love) you very much..... but not in the same way you like me" If he really cares for you....he'll be but hurt.....FOR A MINUTE- then he'll get over it and you'll continue to be friends.

good luck
