What is he trying to prove when he backs away and doesn't call me?

Question

It seems like we go on a date, have an amazing time, he tells me he loves me and all that. Then , out of the blue, I don't hear from him for almost a week. Then he calls asking when he can see me. I am pretty sure he is serious when he says he loves me (he has even mentioned marriage). SO why does he back away like this? Is he trying to prove something to me, or send me a message, or is this just him needing space? I am so confused!!!

Maybe he gets busy, or he is just giving u time to think it over and then later repond to his overtures. The confusion is in your mind and nowhere else. Your mind is imagining things, which dont exist.

If you want an honest result from this ,the only thing you should do is ignore his behaviour, get on with your own life, he either wants you or he doesn't, theres no yes no yes no yes no.. you don't deserve that. so play cool do your own thing don't call him first, when he calls and says he wants to see you tell him well i didn't hear from you for ages so i made my own plans sorry,, maybe next time, if he really wants you he'll be right into you,and start trying to be with you more often if not your better off without him anyways.. hope that helps.

Ask him.. sit down and have a good serious talk. How good is the communication between the two of you? ask urself that. If you cant communicate effectively now.. good luck if u do decide to get married. No one knows ur relationship any better than the two of you... so u can ask and ask why he pulls away.... but really... how well do WE know ur boyfriend? We can come up with anything...say anything... but really.. we dont know him personally to make any accurate statements. End ur confusion now and ask him whats up with his behaviour ..... tell him how it effects you.
