i have a fear of being left home alone for more than an hour?

i have this fear, i been to the thrapist , but he cant figure it out , after 2 hurs alone i start to panic , what does it mean , what can i do

You might have a phobia of some sort.

Psychologists recommend "desensitization.' You do it by exposing yourself, a little step at a time, to your source of phobia, until such time when you no longer have the phobia.

If you're scared of being home alone for more than an hour, try to be alone and do enjoyable things for an hour, then for an hour and a half, then for two hours, and so on and so forth, until such time that you no longer harbor any fear of being left home alone.

Have you been able to figure out what it is about being alone that brings on this fear? Are you far away from other houses/people where you live? Maybe you should find a different therapist if the first one couldn't help you figure it out. It is your problem, you will need to find your own solution. You may need someone with different insight into things.

You could try meditation or self-hypnosis as techniques to help you to be more calm and accepting of being alone. There is something that will help you figure this out. I hope you find it very soon!

How you brain developed this will someday be clear. For now you need ways to overcome being by yourself. Try reading a book and avoid movies for a whole month and see how you get along.

i too had this type of fear in my early stage.the only remedy is HAVE FAITH IN GOD . HE WILL BE ALWAYS WITH YOU.this will relive you from all fears
