I would call it working yourself into some kind of hysteria.....but yeah, I guess it could have been an experience with God. If it were me, though, I'd have rather had a greeting card....preferably one stuffed with some money.

That was getting a touch from God through the HOLY SPIRIT! How wonderful that God inhabits the praises of His people. Keep it up and He will bless you more and more.

Why do you ask us Answers ppl? You know very well that atheists like me are just going to say no, it wasnt. None of us saw what happened and could not even begin to understand your situation. If you really want to know, look inside yourself. Do YOU feel that it was an experience w/ God? If you do, then that's all you need. Wat you DONT need is someone trying to screw up your faith. Think about the bible's teachings: does it really matter what other ppl think? Asking your family is one thing, but asking a bunch of strangers who dont even know what you are like is another thing entirely. Just hold onto your faith...it's God's best gift to you.

God just like to shake people up for what now? For loose change or something? May be its sign you should drop some loose change at your church.

The manifestation of the Holy Spirit is in the moving of the soul....
If you were moved, then it was the Holy spirit.....
But, do not think too much on it if it was just you forcing yourself into it, because alot of people will seek to disprove the manifestation..... I certainly am not.....
But, be true to yourself about your experiences....
The Holy Spirit never leaves you alone...... You will be moved!

Ginger

Or bad posture. That may make you shake too. Or a million other reasons. I'd see a doctor, just in case.

No, I think it was an upper body spasm. It could've been, though.
