The first and only thing you need to do is go pray and fast. I say pray and fast because praying alone will not rid you of that demon that has taken hold of your mind. That is a stronghold. If you did all these, if you would not flood the earth, nor send pestilence, etc. what type of world do you suppose you'd have? If we never had bad times, how would we learn to appreciate the good. There would be killings galore, robbings, exploiting the poor, any and every evil thing known imaginable to man would run rampant on this earth. I mean what would stop it? If everyone knows that there would be no chastisement for their evil, what would stop the world from being so corrupt that the good people of the world would have no place in it? Sometimes we really don't know what we are asking for but God in His infinite wisdom knows what is best for us. Even before we know what is best for us, God knows. You talk about morals, well the world would have none in your world, only you(as you put it) May God Bless

You cannot civilize a savage people in one fill swoop and God didn't try. He did it one stage at a time one step at a time. They kill people for stealing bread, they're not going to accept forgive them so instead he says 'an eye for an eye a tooth for a tooth' and slowly he molded humanity into something that might be ready to accept the teachings of Jesus. Considering what he had to work with it's a wonder his measures weren't more drastic. I'm sure there were many ego's like your's through the ages messing with his plan. Samantha's Mom

Morally greater advantageous to Jesus? No. The biblical version of him is in all probability greater ethical than i'm, via my own standards. Morally greater advantageous to the god of the previous testomony and New testomony? definite. i does no longer order any of the atrocities he ordered interior the previous testomony. As for the recent testomony, why might I placed my own toddler by using a lot discomfort to alter a rule I, myself, had made? If i'm all-powerful, i will basically zap the guideline out of life. If i'm omniscient, i might have had the foresight to no longer make the guideline interior the 1st place. My morals do no longer come from every person place. they're inspired via assorted factors: my upbringing, society's expectancies, adventure, exposure to new info and suggestions, and so forth. Examples: i'm well mannered, considerate, and a sturdy hostess because's what i replaced into taught to be via my relatives. i do no longer purchase and drink alcohol good now because is against the regulation for me to attain this until eventually I turn 21 next month. i do no longer tension human beings into doing or asserting specific issues because of the fact i realize it makes me experience awkward while others do it to me. while i replaced into youthful - midsection college-age - i replaced into professional-determination for any point of being pregnant, yet when I found out greater approximately how the fetus develops and while, I grew to grow to be professional-determination basically for early abortions.

Calm down and recover your cool. No one is superior to the one true God, Jehovah. However you are superior to some other gods..those inanimate things worshipped as God by some who do not know any better. You are superior to carvings, trees, cows and other created objects / animals that some make their God and worship.
The pestilences, wars, diseases and 'man dominating man to his injury' are not caused by God. Currently, Satan is the ruler of this world and man's problems can mostly be attributed to him. Satan (as shown in Genesis) raised an issue of sovereignity with God when as a Devil, he lied to Eve. Adam and Eve disobeyed and the consequence was death, misery, pestilence, wars..etc that came to be in the World. God's intention was for the earth to be a worry-free paradise. Adamic sin caused a delay in the full realization in paradisic earh. Satan told man that man can direct his footsteps independent of God. God just stands by to let Satan prove his case. Satan's failings (assured) will resolve the issue of sovereignity..that man cannot direct his footsteps independent of God. There is hope. Christ has thrown Satan out of the heavens and Satan is now very busy causing havoc and misery, knowing that his time(Satan's) is short. Consequently, critical times hard to deal with are here (2 Tim 3:1-5). The earth will be restored to its God-intended paradise form during a forth-coming God's Kingdom with Christ as the ruler. There will be no more tears, no more sufferings, no more worries, when at that time, the meek (and righteous) will come to possess the earth to time indefinite.read revelations chapter 21 and assure yourself that for Satan, it will soon be over and that if you walk in harmony with God's principles, you too will enjoy a paradise earth. Keep this hope alive. Draw close to God and he will draw close to you...James 4:8

Do yourself a favor and don't tell people that you know. They will most likely drop you like a hot potatoe. Do you really think God is responsible for any of these things and I speak as a proud Jew who lost family in the Holacaust? No, my friend, He isn't. You seem to have forgotton that when Adam and Eve were thrown out of The Garden of Eden God gave people free will. Even things like the Tzonami in Asia was not caused by God, it was the freewill of the people who have abused the environment.

Yes you are right about these things. But did you not read why God did these things? and How many times he warned his people to stop worshipping idol, and committing adultery , to stop murdering and so on, But they would not listen. Its a bit like these days. That's why Jesus had to come into this world
and why he had to die for our sins
John 3 ;16;17
For god so loved the world
that he gave his only Son, so that
everyone who believes in him may
not perish but may have eternal life,
17. indeed God did not send the son into the world to condemn
the world but in order that the world might be saved though him,
Remember Jesus loves you

Good! Why not create your own world and imbue your moral laws into it! Seriously though, one must admit that the Biblical god is truly reprehensible, having commited so many despicable acts. Imagine a god who, not being able to deal with Lucifer, threw him to the earth to contend with mortal man, and then turned around to say "woe to the earth, for the devil has come down to you!" So, whose fault is that? Let's keep searching for a more sublime, more civilised God than the one described in the Bible!

You need to read beyond the bible. Remember, it was written by humans, and we all have the tendency to wangle information in order to suit our views. The bible only gives us a glimpse of God. God cannot be defined in black and white. Look at nature and ask yourself again if you really are superior to God...I doubt it.

Biblical people thought that the Earth was flat. Our God concept came from dummies. Biblical people were intellectually inferior, so you have a knowledge advantage. That's why there are mistakes in the Bible (the word of God). It's really the word of man. And that's why religion is so problematic.
