Perhaps not sinless in the traditional sense of the word, but if we narrowly define sin to mean only a transgression of "God's" law, then you are correct. That is,since there is no god, how can you transgress his laws, is a valid argument

Do you think that would work in any court of law? Would you stand before a judge and say, "Your honor, I know that I killed that man; but I didn't know it was against the law." If you did, do you think the judge would set you free? We will all stand before God on the day He has set aside for judgment; whether you believe it or not. Ignorance of the law is no excuse now; it will not be an excuse then.
God gave you a conscience. Conscience literally means "with knowledge". If you truly think that you are sinless, take the Good Person Test. If you answer the questions honestly and find that you are sinless, I will send you $20 out of my own pocket. Let me know how you do.

The Apostle Paul discusses this in fair detail. To wit:
A)Paul Writes "Blind men can look around and see from the design of the world that God exists". Proof of this is ask ANY child from ANY background if God is real and every one of this will answer "yes". Only when they are older and have been taught that God doesn't exist, do they become atheists.
B)Paul also writes "There are ways that seem right to a man, but is evil and wrong in the eyes of God".
So, you may believe your are sinless, but God knows the truth and will Judge accordingly.

Since the time Adam ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil all mankind have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God. Mankind therefore have knowledge of evil (ie sin) even before God's law (ie the Ten Commandments) was instituted through Moses who lived long after Adam. So you are a sinner, apart from the law. God's unwritten laws are universal. God instituted the law of gravity which applies to you whether you believe in Him or not. So also the other laws.

Dear Very Cant,
Your argument only stands if indeed there is no God. As one who believes in God i can tell you that the Bible clearly teaches that each man will have to give an account of Himself to God and unless we have Christ- we will have to give an account for our sins...
You are sinless in your own eyes because God's law doesn't apply to you because you don't believe in God and this off course affects also your thoughts on how judgement works at the end of your life. But just because you don't believe in God that doesn't mean that he doesn't exist- and if He indeed does you will have to give an account to Him... So your logic is flawed because God says all men are without excuse (Just looking at Creation we can see that God exists).
Hope that helps,
Nickster

wrong. No! you would only be sinless in your own mind not in reality! the absence of belief is a sin in itself ,so, you must be, not sinless, but, sinful, just like, the rest of us! You are trying to go through a loophole there with this question, but it does not work that way. no man is without sin even if they think they are--(1Kings8:46)
(2Thessalonians1:8) Sorry to burst your bubble!

Only if you know the law, it becomes sin. As an atheist you cannot sin, because you are not in Christ. According to the Bible you with all the sinners will one day perish, God's people who obey Gods commandments and have the faith of Jesus will go to heaven. This is what the Bible teachess, but you dont have to worry because you dont believe in the Bible.

You should be a trial lawyer because as an atheist you have transgressed the 10 Commandments. May I remind you, " Thou shall have no others gods before Me." I am a trial lawyer but good luck and I hope some day you will return to God

There is one very good answer to this question... You say God doesn't exist, I say he does. If I am wrong it doesn't matter people have thought that I was a good person.
Very Canterkerous if you are wrong, and I am right, you are going to spend some time before the Holy Judge who will ask you to be accountable for all your sins.
As for Me I have an advocate JESUS CHRIST, WHo says to God this one's with me they have tried to be faithful and they have hung out with me...
I have a friend in high palces.
You have your belief

You must be out of your mind to say that ? You know why ?
You make a AQUARIUM and put fish in it and ask them to obey some rules for the health of everyone. If some fish says I dont recoginze the rules of maker of this AQUARIUM.
Tell me you are right in your question or what ?
You are without faith, but you are not without LOGIC ?
Hope you use your logic as much as you use your arguements. Faith is not a commandment, IT IS A NECESSITY for the wellness of whole mankind.
If you dont have faith then you are against the nature of this EARTH and against the nature of your own self, against the nature of society where there are Billions of people with FAITH and you are like making fun of their BELIEFS and their FAITH.
You decide you have sin, logic, thinking power, or just tongue ?
