I have seen many boys treat pretty girls like dolls, pampering them with gifts and all. On the other hand, ugly girls are treated like thrash, most of the time ignoring them or even if a guy is with her regretted it and dumps her later. Any comments or opinions guys and girls or is that how life goes? Discuss.

You know, I was very happy to see you ask this! It's great to know that a guy recognizes this. I don't know it seems that physical appearance is more of an issue for guys. But some girls too...
I think media is a big blame for this... After all, beauty is a psychological thing, different cultures throughout history has had different opinions..
I think when it comes down to it everyone is just so different and you never know what they value, but also someones view may be altered over time by what others do...
So I think shows like Ugly Betty and stuff like that is helping.. because basically if it's on TV people will watch it...
yet hopefully people are a lot more better than how I just described them.

You're not hanging out with very nice people!
My friends who have boyfriends get treated really nicely, and they're not super pretty. Not ugly of course, but just ordinary.
Being treated like a doll all the time is no fun either. Noone wants to be valued for their looks alone.

it's because they think if they treat them super nicely that they will recognize how "nice" they are treating them and eventually sleep with them!! that's pretty much it. anyone who tells you differently is an outright liar. if they didn't want to sleep with them, they would treat them like someone they don't want to sleep with...an "ugly" person. of course, women are twice as shallow as men. maybe not so much on the first hand looks....oh YAH they are. and even MORE so than boys when the clothes come off. i know several chicks who have dumped boys over their penis size (something they can't control...nice ladies, real winners you are for your corner of the argument). abs (or their lack thereof) of course is big too. the thing is, women are worse than men, they just don't admit it.
oh and for all you boys out there, just remember, women are not queens, princesses or royalty or any kind - they're just human. don't put them up on pedastals when you are going after one and you won't get quite as hurt when they turn you down. oh and if a girl ever says you have a small penis, tell her that her vagina lips flap open wider than a barn door during a tornado. size does matter...i hate big vaginas.

because girls treat Handsome boys like Prince while the ugly ones as thrash.
this is where nature makes it normal while thrashes go for thrashes and Princess go for Princes
some exceptions still occure but they are rare. and caused due to mutual undrestanding.

Guys that act like that are very shallow. I've never understood why a guy would rather have a pretty airhead (not that all pretty girls are airheads, but most have really bad attitudes and personalities) than a plain girl with a good head on her shoulders.

im a guy and from what my friends do (which i really dont care about how a girl looks anymore cause i just focus on the one im trying to get right now) they like the more prettier ones to either have friends like them or just cause they like her. But some occasions like what my friend did about a month ago, he dated an not so bad girl but she wasnt too beautiful either, but he did it. And when someone asked him why he is dating her, he said "well atleast i have a girlfriend, unlike you".......

One can only be treated the way one wants to be treated. If a guy treats a gal like trash, and she accepts the treatment - maybe due to inferiority complex/low self esteem then it's her fault cos as what i know if a guy treats me like trash... i'll just turn around and walk away... i'm worth much more than that...

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Just because a guy or two don't find a girl beautiful doesn' t mean someone will.

There are not " ugly " girls. In time they realize it's in their power to be attractive , beautiful if they really care about that .
