Depending on where it is???? It could be a swollen (infected ) lymph node. I had one once and stuck it with a needle and then popped it like a pimple. Could be a small cyst and is probably nothing serious. However, you need to get some real advice from someone who knows something on the topic.

Tell your mom or dad, it's a good thing you check your self, smart boy. It sounds like a cyst but you never know. Call your Dr. and tell him what you found he will put you through the proper test to determine exactly what it is. Don't worry to much, take care.

get it checked out dude. Earlier this year the doc found cancer on me and had to remove it quickly before it spread. even though you are 14 it can happen. he said it was a freak thing for a 19 year old to have cancer but it does happen.

what were you examining in the first place? your throat? your penis or your testicles? if so...any place you ginf a lump or a cyst isn't a good sign. Sometimes it's nothing sometimes it's everything. Go check yourself with a Dr. as soon as you can. Don't worry. Just go. Good Luck.

you need to tell your parents so they can look at it so they can take you to the doc to get it looked at to make sure it it isn't anything cause i had a lump behind my ear when i was younger and it growed into cancer so, go early before it gets out of hand don't worry till you get a docs opinion cause it could be nothing. just tell your parents !then go from there OK

i would tell your parents... at your age, it could be anything, so the best thing would be to get it checked out... cos the earlier you treat something, the better for you... dont be ashamed or embarassed... your dr will understand, and you can always request to see a male dr if yours is a woman...

Always Always Always get it checked! and tell your mom about it. I know it may be embarrassing but health is far more important than a few minutes of discomfort. I hope it's nothing but please make sure
