I have a poster that was crushed slightly when it was rolled up. This left it with a bumpy surface that I'd like to smooth out. Does anyone know the best way to do this? Can I cover it with a towel and iron it?

Depending on the material of the poster-- I think I would lay a weight as suggested-- and if ironing-- use a smooth sheet on the ironing board, turn the postor over, again cover with a sheet or a pillowcase-- and iron the back-- with a cool iron and increase as needed.
good luck

my first reaction would be to cover it with a light towel... like a light kitchen towel and iron it... I doubt if it would take any hard creases out but it would smooth them enough to perhaps make them less visible. You might also ask a frame shop the question as they deal with this type of thing more often or perhaps a print shop.. Good luck

lay on a flat surface cover with a sheet and lay something heavy over top for a day or2 if not cover with a towel and iron
