I won't infect you with a derogatory statement when you are in fact asking a viable question. So I will answer it with the utmost honesty and research that I can provide. Unlike those who resort to rudeness such as those above, showing their imaturity and ignorance and unwillingness to learn.

Muslims and Christians are the closest brothers in the Christian faith. Muslims have great respect for Christians and love for them as brothers which share a faith which is comparable. Israel hates these Muslims as much as they hate Christians , that is why the Israel propaganda machine is in full swing to make Christians and Muslims hate one another for if they are able to work together as brothers in the same faith they are able to stop the evils of this earth together and the wars that are a daily occurance in Israel, from Isreal and their hatred for Muslims. Therefore their propaganda is to make Christians hate their Muslim brothers whose faith is more closely binding and alike than that of Judaism and Christianity. Fact is, Muslims are blood brothers in Christ with Christians.

You may have heard this because Muslim history has proved that Jesus was actually born under a palm tree wereas Judeo influence into our Christian Bible says it was in a manger. However , Muslim history is older than Judeo history so it must be held at a higher value than the myths of Judeo history which have always been proven to been mythical and with much error.
Read this excerpt from muslim history.

"I first came across the idea of Christ as an object of Muslim devotion when I read that inscription quoting Jesus, son of Mary, on Whom be Peace, on the gateway at Fatehpur Sikri. Last month I came across a Mughal miniature, now on display in the British Library, which was probably painted within that city soon after the gateway had been built. It is a nativity scene, with Mary and the Christ child and wise men coming to offer gifts. But the wise men are Mughal courtiers, Mary is attended by a Mughal serving girls, and the Christ child and his mother are sitting under a palm tree. As this miniature shows, there are certainly major differences between the two faiths- not least the central fact, in mainstream Christianity, of Jesus' divinity. But Christmas the ultimate celebration of Christ,s humanity- is a feast which Muslims and Christians can share together without reservation. At this moment when the Christian West and Islamic East seem to be heading for another major confrontation,( Thanks to Israli propaganda ) there has never been a greater need for both sides to realise what they have in common and, as in this miniature, to gather around the Christ child, to pray for peace."

The barn in the back of an inn was the only place left with room for Joseph and Mary. It was probably covered with Palm leaves to help keep out the weather. Mary Most likely birthed Jesus the same way as other women of the time did. After cleaning up the body after birth it was put in a manger.Where the Magi found him.

My view is that the scriptures record his birth in all the gospels as being in a manger. And as i accept the scriptures as the word of God and used for correction and teaching....... I accept what it says..... a manger
