I heard part of a christian song yesterday. She sounded alot like Evanescence and so did the music. Some of the words were something like "I cant do this alone help me God" or something similiar. I liked it and so did my daughter. She likes Evanescence so it would be cool to get her to listen to this.

I don't think that this person is trying to "mimic" worldly music. I think it's great when christian artists sound mainstream because they sometimes bring in non christians who really need to hear it. Who wants to hear music that sounds like it comes from baptist hymn books.
I go to a baptist church and we don't even sing from the hymn books.
It doesn't matter what the music sounds like as long as the lyrics glorify God.

Hmmm...I'm not ENTIRELY sure, it sounds familiar. But you can always try www.songlyrics.com ,because you can just type in the lyrics you know and it'll search for whatever songs have them in. Hope you find it out :]

I have no idea. Your details are too vague. Try Jennifer Knapp. She is really good.

I would be careful of Christian artists that try to mimic the world's music. Sometimes I can't tell the difference from one or the other.

With any song, the question should always be, "Does this glorify God"?

Sing of well matters no longer unhealthy, sing of completely satisfied no longer unhappy. Sing, Sing a music, sing it realistic to final the entire night time lengthy. Don't fear if its no longer well ample for any individual else to listen to, simply sing, sing a music.
