Tonight, my girlfriend sent me an IM. I asked her about her day and whatnot. She didn't respond to me, and instead went idle for about 30 minutes. I gave her a call during the 30 minutes just to make sure everything was ok, as it was really unlike her. She didn't pick up, but returned to AIM only to tell me that she needed to go to bed. I asked her if everything was alright, got a yes, and then she signed off after telling me that she'd talk to me tomorrow.
She didn't go into details about her day, and didn't really talk to me much at all. We didn't see each other today either. Plus there's the whole disappearing out of nowhere in the middle of the conversation (which I thought was a bit rude). I'm a bit worried that something may be wrong, though I know I don't really have much of a reason to worry.
Should I be concerned about this?

At this point in time, she's doing a lot of stuff with her sorority. She has to wake up very early tomorrow for an activity, and has had to do so a few days a week for the past few weeks. Is she maybe just getting a bit cranky from all this?

I'm guessing she had a bad day. If she's still standoffish tomorrow, ask her about it..but, let it go for now!!!! It's hard, I know!!!!

Dear LD, your gf sounds very busy. For the time being just give her some room to do her things. Then if she continues then yes, something is wrong. But there are times when we get so busy that we can't see straight. So give her some time to get things done. The holiday is coming up, Thanksgiving that is and maybe you both can make up for lost time then. Good Luck.

Yes,even if she had a bad day and she really cares for you she shouldn't be able to treat you like that.So is this how your gonna be treated every time she has a bad day? How would she like it if you did that to her?Maybe this is something you need to think about.

with what you have told me, she seems to be busy. I doubt you have something to be worried about. She probably IM you to let you know tat she's home safe. But i would feel that it is better for you to clear your greviance with your gf about the disappearing bit if it bothers you...

It could be but find out what is going on with her. What is a relationship without communication? You two need to sit and talk.
