I would say the car that hit you is S.O.L. since they are basically the party causing the damage the burdon of proof falls on them. You were in your own lane and were struck by this other car who no matter how it happened made an unsafe lane change. Anyone can say they were cut off etc.

whoever hit you is responsible for all damages. The insurance cos will always try to find a way out of paying. All they want is your money. They don't really care about you or your finances as long as you pay up. Oh, BTW..all car insurance cos are regulated by the government.

I knew someone who paid State Farm Ins for 18 years without one incident. Then one time he got into a small accident (less than $500 damage) and they raised his rates by 35%. Fkucing scam artists!!

Yes, you are SOL, If you could have gotten the plate number of the car that caused all this, They are the Loser. What about the guy that actually hit you, Did they get the plate number? If not, hope the damage is not too bad, because its up to you, or your insurance, to pay for your car. Its not right, but without the information, its tough to prove anything.........

You would think that it would be the person who hit you...They shouldn't have swerved into your lane even if a car was coming into theirs...Try to fight it! The ones that hit you should be responsible for most if not all of the damage!

I think the car that hit you should be responsible for fixing your car...not the one that made them swerve into you. Even though they were driving wrecklessly they werent the one that hit you. I think that insurance company is just trying to get out of paying up.

You are ALWAYS responsible for fixing your own car.

Relying on somebody else to spend time and money to help out is retarded.
Since when has anything like that ever happened?

And the insurance company isn't there to help you. It exists to keep you from driving for free. The government wants responsible people whio can make a living on the roads. Not broke scumbags. "Insurance" has NOTHING to do with that yearly $2,000 you blindly pay.

If you're old enough to drive, then you know this. Stop asking stupid questions.

yep, because you cant prove it. but thats why you have insurance. I mean your rates might go up a little bit, but if you had a good history of driving you should be fine.
