My boyfriend and I are pretty opposite and I love him very much. Have been together for 4 years now and I think that our opposites make it work, I think that if I was too similar to someone it wouldn't be the same. At least being with someone totally opposite you learn new things, as well as learn about yourself as you usually have to adapt to the other peoples little quirks, so it makes you grow as a person as well which is always a good thing!

I am in love with my complete opposite...and that's what makes us so wonderful together!!!! He's anti-social, whereas I'm more of a social butterfly. I'm tactful, he's so not. I am very concerned about people, he's not so much. I like to go out, he prefers to stay home. I like to giggle & have a good time, he's more of the serious kind. I'm school-oriented & am just about done with my degree, he's so not a school person. The list goes on & on & on....but, we both love each other, and being opposites actually helps us as individuals too!!!

I don't know if I'd say in love because it's more of a crush right now because I don't know his feelings for me, but we are pretty opposite. The song Opposites Attract seems to pretty much hit the spot.

Yes and though we are totally opposite we seem to also compliment each other as well. Kind of crazy sounding but it works. Has for almost 30 years.

me and my exgirlfriend were once in a very passionate relationship. I don't think that I can call it love because I believe that all true loves will last forever.
She was the good, church-going type before she met me. We met right out of high school. She went to my college and we hooked up at a party one night. She was incredibly gorgeous, blonde hair, green eyes, gorgeous. Anyways, we wound up dating for over 3 years before we broke up. We just couldnt make it work anymore. A lot of her christian values got in the way of our relationship. Not that christian values are wrong, but i just believe that if two people are passionate about eachother, they shouldn't have to hide anything. a big problem with our relationship was that she would always lie to her parents about us whenever they asked her. This really upset me because, like i said, we were in love and she shouldnt have to be concerned about what her parents thought.
Anyways, to answer your Q, yes I was once very passionate with my complete opposite. Love, no, but very passionate. I guess it just wasnt meant to be. Email me with your story. qbullseyeq@hotmail.com

yes, and its actually a good thing. It keeps you open to things by being able to see how things are done or thought about in different ways and you get to experience things you normally wouldn't go for. Plus what fun would it be if you had someone who always agreed with you on everything all the time ,being different keeps it interesting.

Yes I have, still am and have been happily married for 15 years. We're still different as night and day and we wouldn't have it any other way.
