Okay to start off my gf Jess is away at school in Arizona and we've been together for 2 years, but recently I've fallen in love with my coworker and we've been together for almost a month and a half now and my girlfriend in AZ has no idea. She tells me all the time how shes miserable in Arizona and she wants to transfer to a school here for me. I feel bad about this because I want to break up with her, but don't know how to tell her. I feel bad for cheating, but I got lonely and couldn't pass the advances of this current girl I'm going out with and who I really care about. I want to break up with my gf in AZ, but can't seem to, she is coming home for Thanksgiving break, should I do it in person or by phone and how should I break the news?

Since Thanksgiving is almost here wait until she is here. You are a dog forsheating but at least you are going to so the right thing by telling your gf.

I don't envy you but you have to do what's right. It will hurt no matter what you say to your gf but the sooner you do it the sooner she can get over the pain. Doing it in person is the best.
First, hold her hand (so she can't slap you when you finally break the news) and you can start by saying how much you missed her when she left. Out of your loneliness, you found solace in someone else's company and that relationship developed unexpectedly into something more than friendship. Tell her you are very sorry for hurting her but you are trying to make the best of the situation by being honest with her. In time, you hope, that she can forgive you.
She's going to cry, so give her a hug and say you're very sorry. Walk away . . . and then breathe.

Being a girl I would tell you to do it in person. Nothing hurts most then being dumped on the phone. You need to tell her soon to. There is no real easy way to break up with her because well you did cheat. Just tell her the truth that the feelings arent the same anymore and she needs to find someone that will treat her the way she wants and love her the way that she loves them. Im not saying that you dont love her or anything. Its not going to be easy but tell her so she doesnt think that everything is fine. Its going to hurt her but it will hurt her 10x more if u keep on lying to her and she finds out some how. Hope this helps you in anyway

Well man you need to tell her in person just make sure you new shiela isnt around or the maybe a bit of a fight. You can say good bye though because unless this girl is amazingly forgiving you wont hear from her again. But yeah you need to tell her in person and be completely honest even if it means getting slapped or otherwise its the price you pay for not being honest.

You should have stopped that relationship after a week in a new one, or even before.

Tell Her...what your doing is so wrong, break things off with her when she gets home b/c you need to face what you did...it may be harder for her and you both but it doesnt matter...you shouldnt of put this off for so long b/c your only going to hurt her more. I know things happen and long distance relationships don't work but you should of ended things before you started things.

Break it off BEFORE she takes a flight to see you. Be a man and just tell her straight up that it's over. Besides, how could you possibly make a relationship work if you are several states apart??!!

hey, i'm a girl and i don't blame you for cheating. Why did she go to school so far away?.. break up with her when she comes for thankgiving break.. best way. tell her the truth... and it's cheesy but.. follow your heart.
