In most cases, you'd probably get away with it. I'm sure there's hundreds of women out there who have done it and had happy, healthy children. Does that mean you should do it? I don't know. If you do and nine months later you have a baby with some sort of problem, how will you feel? Will you spend the rest of your life blaming yourself and saying "what if?" If you can live with that possibility, go for it...Otherwise, it's only nine months of your life..
My one and only pregnancy was a molar pregnancy and it sucked, believe me...And even though the doctors said I didn't do anything to cause it, you better believe I analyzed every single thing I did or ingested for the three months before it all went wrong. It's not fun to live that way, it's better to not take chances that you might later regret...even if the odds are in your favor...

I've never been pregnant and although 1 or 2 glasses, theoretically, should not affect the baby, Murphy's law may kick in and cause problems. From my own observation, my best friend had no more than three glasses of wine in her 9 months and her daughter (who is now 3 1/2 years old) is perfectly healthy and fine. It should not cause any problems but, you know, why risk it? It's 9 months out of your life or the rest of your life dealing with a child that has innumerable problems and difficulties that you will struggle through with yourself.

it somewhat is a great difficulty for controversy.. each little thing i've got heard or study is that there at the instant are not any study that concluded precisely how lots alcohol motives Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, so the best components on FAS advise none in any respect to be risk-free.. yet it ought to be thoroughly risk-free as much as a undeniable element, no one is familiar with for particular as no longer something has been conclusive. a buddy's physician instructed her a glass of wine each now and then replaced into ok, yet my own OB recommends none whatsoever. Regardless, i does no longer possibility it notwithstanding if my physician had suggested it replaced into ok.. it somewhat is only no longer somewhat somewhat worth the possibility for me to have one glass of wine, somewhat no alcohol throughout my being pregnant and a wholesome infant boy.... and each and all of the alcohol i'm able to attend to after he's born :)

You aren't really supposed to drink when you are pregnant but God knows there are worse things you could be doing like crack or meth which are both terrible. I would every now and then have a glass or two or wine and my daughter turned out fine. You just can't overdo it and not do it every evening. I wish you the best on your pregnancy and new baby.

It's PROBABLY ok to have 1 or 2 drinks during a pregnancy but honestly I would never take that risk. Even one drink can cause Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, so I wouldn't mess with those chances. But it's your personal decision. Some people may feel that it is child abuse, however. And also you should be aware that alcohol, unfortunately, does not dilute or metabolize in any way on the way to your fetus. The exact amount of alcohol you drink your baby will consume exactly the way you did.

I have had a few glasses of wine while I was pregnant, I dont think its a good idea, but i dont think it hurts either, I just think you should stay away from it, because it puts scary thoughts in your head What ifs? y'know what i mean and we worry enough about our babys health as it is. If anything goes wrong you will probly blame those two glasses of wine or whatever it is you drink.

I love red wine.. My doc told me it was fine occasionally.. I had about 2 glasses a month and I had a 10 1/2 pound baby boy who is still absolutley healthy and happy at 6 years old.. Just remember... Moderation is Key.. Good luck on the pregnancy..

Follow your gut (no pun intended). Do YOU think it's ok? Probably not, since you are asking this question. Would you give your newborn some wine in a baby bottle, or would you give wine to any little babies/children you know? Again, probably not. It's all about making the right choices for YOU.

Don't worry, wine is not a poison... Here, in France, I have already seen pregnant women having wine (but not Champagne) during a special dinner and the baby was in good health..

I haven't been pregnant before so I haven't personally done it. But my boss told me about how she had a one glass here and there throughout both her pregnancies and both her children turned out just fine. Before you do though the main thing would be to consult your doctor just to be safe.
