Wherever you go around the world, you are required to give the law enforcement officer your identification provided they are able to show you documented proof example id that there are from the police or law enforcement agencies...

Yes in any state of the United States if a licensed peace officer asks you for either your id or you name then you must give it to them or you can be arrested right there on the spot.

If you are driving a car, yes you have to provide ID.

You are required to provide them your name, and birth date. if your are asked by then in an investigation. Giving a false name would be a crime.

Why wouldn't you just do it? Why do people just want to fight something for the sake of fighting it. If you haven't done any thing wrong, what's the problem with showing your id?
If you HAVE done something wrong, than whooops, I guess you shouldn't have done it, right?
