In urgent situations, high adrenalin level gets you places and makes you get things done faster. Without taking prescriptions/drugs, can high adrenalin levels be developed or is it inborn? :)

Actually what controls that whole system is a part in the brain called the amygdala. I won't go into details but it has to do with the fight or flight impulse, as well as emotions, sexual desire, and appetite. All our primal instincts. So...if you think of it that way...how you respond to situations where you need to act immediately is kind of set. Obviously if you have more sleep you're be able to function better but I do not think you can "develop" this system further. I could be wrong but that's what I think given what I know :)
