Every time i try to do a search iy freezes on me and its very slow.
I just want to know if there's anything out there that's like kazaa and free.

the freezing is probably cause ur computers too slow its not kazaas fault. as for programs theres limewire and ares theyre ok BearShare is no good anymore it got removed from download.com cause the latest versions r loaded with spyware. if u ask me using these programs is too risky u never kno wat uv downloaded till u actually open the file and sumtimes they can b unstable limewire made my comp crash once and my comp is usually a very reliable machine it never gives me problems (well usually but wen it does i can fix them easily wich is wat matters lol) if u ask me use torrents theyre more reliable and u actually kno exactly wat ur downloading only problem u mite hav is u need 2 kno wat ur doing anyway first u need a torrent program (or client) some good ones r BitComet, Azureus and uTorrent (all free from download.com) then after uv got that u need to get the torrents themselves some torrent search sites:
isohunt.com
demonoid.com
thepiratebay.org (lots of porn on this one, i dont kno whether u think thats good or bad...(lol)
when u search for a file on a torrent site u will first hav 2 download a small torrent file (usually less than 1KB) after downloading u open it with whatever torrent program u hav and thats when the actual download will start what u do next depends on the program u hav ut most programs will let u do things like pausing ur downloads, routing thru a proxy server, etc. as for wat u can download, u can usually find anything (and i mean ANYTHING) if u know where 2 look for it....scary isnt it? well, take care.

There are many P2P engines like KaZaa: Bearshare, Limewire, etc.
But, like KaZaa, you will have to pay to get the music you really want, and you can get viruses and other malware if not careful.
Many of these new sites want TMI. Such as all your buddies, friends, etc from YIM, AIM, MSN IM, etc.
Most are faster than KaZaa. Go to http://www.download.com for many choices of P2P programs.

Kazaa is a P2P software. You have many more P2P softwares available for download. I think Bearshare is the best among them. you can download it at

LIMEWiRE all the way babes...not that i use it or anything, just have heard about it alot from others...my internet is too slow for any of that stuff.

limewire.................and once you get on limewire, search for and DL Limewire Pro.....its faster than lightning.
I see alot of folks recommending bearshare....be careful got alot of spyware and trojans just from the bearshare install.

limewire, bearshear and shareaza... another thing you can try is to download torrents from sites like www.torrentspy.com and download them through azureus.
