I have bought a puppy from a breeder who resides and has her business in the state of Wisconsin. I live in New York. Where or which state must I file the small claims?

That is the problem with buying dogs like that!!!!!! Probably your bill of sale said something in fine print about that!! I have it in my puppy contracts that any disputes will take place in the State and County that the purchase took place.
The "breeder" probably knew this. Many internet sellers count on that!!! Who is going to travel that distance to file a small claims case????????????

Breeder A sounds like an astonishing breeder, I for deepest reason won't take doggies except i'm able to get them at 8 weeks. If i desire an older puppy, i'm going to regularly pass by way of breed rescue or undertake from a shelter. i might in no way ever think of of B with the term Breeder, yet as a domestic dog Miller and an exceedingly merciless individual. So would not financially help them.

You will have to file in your claim in Wisconsin. You can check with your State Attorney's Office if it involves fraud (Interstate Fraud is a Class A Felony). You might also want to look up the Better Business Bureau for her area!

If we knew more about what your claim was for, someone might be able to answer you better.
