I haven't been on a date with someone with bad breath. But I usually carry mints or gum. So, if i were you, I would offer him some mints or gum.

My first kiss was with this guy I didn't even know, and his mouth kind of tasted like the inside of mine. I didn't like the taste that much. I really don't like french kissing anymore.
