After many years of relationship crap, I decided to stop looking for a man. I decided to learn about me. I even quit having sex with men; it confused the issues. So am i strange for wanting to be and live alone?

You'll never find love if you keep looking for it.
I say this from experience...
My boyfriend and I were friends for a long time before we started dating. We've been dating for over 9 months now. We talk about marriage all the time.
I never looked for love because I knew I would just get my heart broken. I was happy with myself... happy with my drama-free life (lol). So I was satisfied. Besides, I knew that God would send the one when He was ready. I never knew that the man was right under my nose the entire time.

If you like who you are, and are satisfied with your life, why would you need a relationship with someone? Be happy, have fun, explore the world, jump out of an airplane. As far as sex goes, batteries are cheaper than a relationship.

Not at all! It's perfectly normal. Maybe you're not aware of it consciously, but you are just tired of complex relationships and just want relax and take the load off from all the relationship hustle. It's good you're spending time to find yourself and give yourself a breather. You deserve it.

tis all good, the weirdest thing is, i was thinking about that. like i'm a little bored of trying to find someone or waiting for someone. i'm actually content being single....now that is. but to answer your question it's not strange at all to choose to be alone, just don't become lonely
