every time i ask a question about my religion, i have at least one person that tells me i will go to hell because i am worshiping the "prophets" of my religion. They dont even take the time out to read about my religion and find out what it is teaching people.
my prophets are:

Abraham
Zoroaster
Jesus
Muhamed
Krishna
Buddha
Bahá'u'llah
and Moses.

my religion goes by the teachings of all of these prophets, they teach there is ONE God and he alone is to be worshiped.

allot of people think that Hinduism and Buddhism are Polytheistic BUT there not they teach that there is ONE God. if you dont believe me check it out for yourself :-|

I AM MONOTHEISTIC!!

now that i have that out of my system, i feel alot better :)

hollynicity: hinduism teaches that there is one god with many names and both genders to appeal to his different attributes, but it's like the christian trinity, multiple Gods rolled into one.

Just thinking about your statement. You could be wrong. I would tend to believe that the oldest beliefs would more likely be the correct ones..(closer to creation) and polytheism came first.

Buddhism doesn't teach there is a God. Not that I've heard. It's not listed under the monotheistic religions. Neither is Hinduism. maybe if you look at them in certain ways they seem to be monotheistic. But Hinduism does support a belief of multiple gods. Hence the polytheism.

I'm sorry that people don't understand your religion. That must stink.

Same reason why someone assums that I am racists, because I a a southern Chrisitan, or that I worship a (and I quote) "dead man on a stick" Same reason why anone doesn't listen and instead makes a behind out of themselves by assuming something of someone.

I am with you in this and probably this alone, that people should take the time to get to hear the idea before labeling the idea.

Because it sounds like to them that u do. Personally I argue ur point that most religons do to worship One God. Because they don't look at it in they look at their religions. Example Christian worship God and follow the teaching of Christ, but view other that religions like Muslism who Worship Allah (God) and follow the teaching of Muhammed, as that they worship both because they are closed-minded to the fact that though all religions are different in their on way they still have a lot of similarites.

its fantastic to see another human making the choice to look at teachings from all faiths not putting 100% in to one.
I'm with you. if we look at all the faiths and find the areas that overlap between them we should by theory be one step closer to truth. all of your prophets are wonderful they all had an important message to give and it's great that you are taking the time to listen to them all.
don't concern yourself with others thoughts on what you are doing. all of your prophets had people who ridiculed their teachings but it didn't stop them teaching.
Keep spreading your words brother, God stands beside you.

one more thing... don't label it a religion....simply share your faith!!

I don't think that you worship your prophets. Don't be so paranoid. People are entitled to their own opinions.
