What can be learned from this movie is that, despite a severe mental disorder, a person can make valuable contributions to our society.

Tolerance respect and fervent desire to think differently about people who suffer in this manner. I am a Community Visitor in my Country Australia we have a live out in the Suburbs policy for intellectual disabled people we have closed the old lunatic asylums.
Residents have myself and team mates to go check their carers are doing their jobs and that these people have as close to a life you would want for one of your own as possible. This film was one of the reasons I changed my outlook and decided to help those who cannot help themselves .

Respect psychiatric disorders, understand them, and know that with help those intelligent people can be functional in society.
