You can't change whether or not he's jealous. If he's jealous, then he's going to be jealous.
If this guy friend wants you and loves you, then yeah, your boyfriend has reason to worry. If you're asking this, it means that you think he's taking this out of context. WRONG!
You are dating your boyfriend.
Your GUY friend loves you and wants you.
You are either going to dump your boyfriend, cheat on him, or leave him for this guy friend.
Either way you're going to hurt someone. You need to get your priorities straight. If you want to be with your guy friend, then break up with your boyfriend. Poor guy.

If your guy friend wants you then yes he should be very jealous. However if you are only friends then he should not feel jealous. Understand though that men know the way other men work so he may sense more than your guy friend is letting on to you. Which means you may be a little naive to your friendship with this guy

If he is your best friend and still telling you that he wants you and loves you when you are dating someone else...yes. You and your best friend need to set some boundaries that will allow both of you to have healthy relationships with another person. It sounds like your best friend is hanging on and waiting for you to realize it was him all along. Do him a favor a let him move on...unless he really is the one you want to be with.

yes ofcourse he should be jealous, how would you like it if he had a best girl friend that had been his friend for a long time and she wants him and loves him, how would you feel? Obviously you would feel jealous, so he has the right to feel that way.

You kept your best guy friend around because you always knew he loved you and wanted you. This for you was just for a boost to your ego. A lot of girls do this. Now you have two guys loving you. Hopefully they will both realize how pathetic you are. Then you'll only have the fat or not as pretty girlfriend of yours to boost your ego. (You know you have the ugly or fat friend to make you look better. Girls like you always do)
