It's completely fine, just make sure you don't get low amounts of sodium. A lot of water + no sodium = not good.

Some experts recommend 64 ounces a day. If you're overweight you can drink a little more - always good to substitute water instead of soda or sugary drinks.
But you CAN drink too much water (think over 100 oz) and harm yourself. You can deplete your sodium levels to dangerous levels.
A good rule of thumb is to drink when you're thirsty. Once you get in the habit of regularly drinking water you will find yourself getting thirsty throughout the day.

The more water you drink the better. You should be drinking half your body weight in ounces.....so say you weighed 140 lbs, you should drink 70 ounces....This is to maintain normal body functions. If you drink more, it flushes toxins out of your cells, it PREVENTS bloating and helps with weight loss. Water is more important than anything. We can go 40 days without food, but only 4 without water

At one time? Your body will do it's best to get rid of it, but if they're large glasses you're risking water poisoning and you die. Think of college hazing incidents.
When you drink large amounts of water or any liquid at any time, you dilute your electrolytes and then have a heart attack.

As a certified fitness professional take this advice. More water does not mean better. Some people have died due to large amounts of H2O intake. Just take a look at your urine, it should be lemonade to straw color with no strong odors.

Nothing really. That is about 48 ounces. If you drink it late, say after dark you wll be going to the bathroom most of the night. I would say about six times.
