being largely endowed upstairs.
I personally wouldn't take off my bra.
Unless of course they are staying the night..
Which if you intend to change for your pyjamas this would give an acceptance of being without a bra.
As long as its not to see through slangy or sex in that sense.
I am not a prune. Just you have to remember Most in laws are the same age as your parents they were raised in a Conservative manner.
It is respectful to make them feel comfortable when they visit.

If they can tell you're bra-less, like if you have a thin or skimpy shirt on, then I would say no. If you can disguise the fact that you are bra-less, like with a few layers of baggy clothing, then go for it. All this depends on what size you are, also. I always take mine off when I get home as soon as possible. The most valuable lesson I learned from my mother is how to take my bra off without having to take off my shirt or even take the sleeves out.

Boy,some people got really upset about this! Wearing a bra is a personal choice, not an indication of your respect towards someone else. If your attire is such that it would be offensive without a bra, it's probably not much better with one.
I say behave according to your own comfort level.

in laws are still in laws, they are not and will not ever be like your immediate family, who will not judge you. If you are relatively large chested, then it might cause quite a stir. If you are smaller, likely no-one would even notice.
It also depends what you are wearing around the house. If it's a big old sweatshirt, no-one will notice. If it's something more clingy, then re-consider what you are wearing around the house if it's too revealing for the visit.
Go with your comfort level and that of your spouse. What does he think? Does he want his brother, mother, sister, father... seeing your hard nipples?

At some degree it is inappropriate. Even though they are visiting. No one (but your husband) should be watching, or looking, at breast that jiggles, wiggles,or hang .And even if they are not, it's shows signs of disrespect .Most in-laws may feel uncomfortable around woman who are not straped up, it draws their attention to look some where they don't want to. So the answer to your question is yes.

would you want your sister walking around braless in front of your husband or even your bestfriend. There are really comfortable sleeping bras that feel like wearing nothing made by Warner's and carried at Sears and JC Penney. you can keep yourself together until you get in the bed. be good!

I just had a visit with my mother in law and we were both joking that after a long day out that we couldn't wait to get home and take our bra's off!
To answer your question, I think it depends on your relationship with your in law and how relaxed you can be around them.

my house or their house, when the girls get uncomfortable, the bra comes off (usually through a sleeve), at night its a t-shirt and granny panties. If they're to uppity to deal with that, their snooty a s ses can take a bus to the Motel 6 and get a room.

Yes it is. You can go braless and still be in good taste. Wear a camisole or undershirt. I do the same thing as I go braless whenever I am home, but I want to be proper just in case I have company.

I'm sure if you wear a baggy sweatshirt, and you're not dealing with 44FF's with nipples the size of gumdrops, you'll be fine. If you plan on donning a tight white wife-beater, or some sheer little negligee, be prepared for some raised eyebrows.
